Children's Ministry

First Family has been ministering to children in the Valley Center area for over 100 years. We seek modern ways to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with the children that will be fun and exciting for them.

Wednesday evening is a special time for the children. We begin with a family style meal at 6:00 p.m. At 6:30 p.m., children kindergarten through fifth grade attend Bible Max, a fun, high-tech curriculum that teaches the children how to put God first in their lives and let Him help them as they deal with the daily challenges of life.

Each week has a new memory verse that the children are encouraged to memorize and earn Blitz Bucks which can be spent for prizes ranging from candy to laptops! Sunday morning Bible Studies are also help for the children at the same time as the Adult Small Group studies. Various activities are held throughout the year to provide positive entertainment for the children.

A nursery is available at all services for children from infant to 5 years of age.
